I did not have to think for long to realize that I am grateful for my smile. When I was going through my darkest hours in life, I remember praying to God, that I do not lose the ability to smile. And I did not! There is not a single picture that I have taken in the USA where I am not consciously smiling. I also remember that smiling at the camera did not come easily to me while I was growing up in India. So, I have to thank the USA for providing all that I can take to grow myself in this process of stepping into my womanhood and my magical smile. This does not mean that I was "broken" and that the USA or Landmark or Toastmasters or whatever it is that I am passionate about, "fixed" me! It only means that the environment allowed for a lot of opportunities that which I had known had existed.
Well, apart from other qualities, my smile is what I am known for and I might as well flaunt it and I dedicate this post to my second "Motherland", the USA!
